Nationally recognized communities created by McMillin Land Development and serving as models for others to follow are: Rancho del Rey in Chula Vista, Scripps Ranch Villages in San Diego, Temeku Hills Golf and Country Club in Temecula, and Scripps Ranch North in San Diego. Scripps Ranch North won an Orchid Award from the American Institute of Architects for its environmentally conscious land plan.
